This rather garish cat design is from the Book Of Kells. Like the last piece I made it will find itself a new home when flood waters take it from my garden.
Valonia I love what you are creating and feel rather sad that they might float away out of your garden. Exactly the kind of flotsam I would like to find!
Robyn - When I make something suitable for airmail I will come knocking for your address and you can have your very own piece of flotsam too. They look better in photos than they do in real life though!
Rima - There is something lovely and magical about old wood. :)
I really like your Celtic/Saxon art work. And what a beautiful idea - to create it and then let it go where the river will take it, for someone else's pleasure. (Elements of Shiva worship here - the creation and destruction)
