I hereby retract all cynicism over facebook. I am in contact with lots of people I have known and loved over the years. And more importantly, in the short time I have been a member, I am back in contact with people I have often thought about and had completely lost contact with.
And it is terribly addictive.
And wonderful.
And nice.

Hey, did you stay safe on the boat during the storm, or didn't it affect Abingdon that much? The pictures from the coast were more than scary ... Hope you're okay, sweets.
It was a bit rocky on the water, but not nearly as bad as it was on the coast.
I think I slept through most of it!
